Relyo splits it by days stayed. Everyone who lived in the unit during the billing period gets a share in proportion to their days. Each person's grade then decides who pays that share, and anyone who owes is notified.
What happens when someone moves in or out mid-month?
Relyo counts only the days they stayed in the billing period, for both their share and their allowance. The rest of the bill is split between the others who lived there, by their days.
What is a utility allowance in staff housing?
It is how much electricity, water or other utility a grade covers, set as a money cap or a consumption range. A grade is the housing level you set for a group of staff. In Relyo each grade can have one allowance per utility type, and every bill is checked against it automatically.
