Is Relyo a Cloudbeds alternative for staff housing?

Yes, for staff housing only. Relyo is not a guest PMS and takes no guest bookings: it is a separate system built only for staff housing. It replaces the spreadsheets, chat groups and staff reservations in the PMS that hotels use for staff housing today.

Can Cloudbeds manage staff accommodation?

Partly. You can enter staff as reservations or group bookings, which shows room assignments. Cloudbeds is not designed for grade entitlements, utility allowances, bill shares by days stayed, damage linked to each stay, landlord leases or cost per department and grade, and Relyo is built for those.

Is a guest PMS enough for staff housing?

A guest PMS such as Cloudbeds is built for guest stays: reservations, rates and guest revenue. Staff housing needs staff profiles, room planning by rules, inspections, repairs, utility allowances and cost per occupant. Relyo is a separate system built only for staff housing.

What if some staff live in rooms inside the hotel?

Relyo handles them like staff in any other building: rooms, inspections, repairs and costs. It does not connect to your guest PMS.

Does Relyo integrate with Cloudbeds?

No. Guests stay in your guest PMS, and Relyo does not connect to it or to any HR or accounting software. Import your staff list from CSV or Excel (up to 500 rows per file), or drop the file into Relyo AI, the built-in assistant, and we set up your buildings with you.

How does Relyo handle seasonal staff who come back every year?

Relyo works in periods, such as a summer season. A new period starts from the last one, carrying over properties, amenity settings and people. Smart Match then proposes rooms for everyone still waiting, and the end-of-period report includes a simple rule-based rehire shortlist.

Can Relyo show what staff housing costs per person?

Yes. Relyo shows each occupant's housing cost (rent for the buildings you lease, utilities including overage, damage and repairs) and totals by property, grade and department. Repair costs are attributed for reporting only, and nobody is charged for damage that was already there.

How does pricing compare between Relyo and Cloudbeds?
