Does AI decide who gets which room?
No. Smart Match is a transparent algorithm with fixed hard rules and scored fit factors. AI only turns the preferences you write in plain words into settings, which can never break a hard rule, and nothing is assigned until you accept.
Which rules does Smart Match never break?
Smart Match never breaks six hard rules: bed capacity, pets, smoking, optional same-gender rooms, the room rules of each grade, and people entitled to a room of their own. A grade is the housing level you set for a group of staff. Capacity and grade rules are checked again when you accept.
Can I change a proposal before accepting?
Yes. You untick the proposals you don't want and accept the rest in one click. You can also assign or move people by hand at any time.
What about staff who arrive later in the season?
Run Smart Match again at any time, and it proposes rooms only for the people who still need one. Anyone arriving in the next 14 days without a room also shows in Operational Signals, Relyo's list of what needs attention.
What happens after I accept?
Relyo creates the stays at once, and each person sees their room in the occupant portal. Start each stay with a move-in inspection, and Relyo flags any stay without one after 7 days.
How do we get our staff list into Relyo?
Import your roster from CSV or Excel, up to 500 rows per file. For more columns, such as department and arrival dates, drop the file into Relyo AI and approve the import.
